BP Miller recognised that it could make substantial savings on its offshore flare operational and maintenance costs by reviewing their flare system design taking into consideration present and future flare usage.
Argo Flare Services assisted BP Miller and AMEC in this task
which included the design and supply of a replacement HP Flare and refurbishment of
their LP
Flare.
The Flare Tips were changed-out at the beginning of August, and the
Flare installation
was completed well within a day due to the use of Eltel Networks (formerly Statnett) and its Helicopter Flare Tip change-out service.
