 Offshore Flare Testing, HP Coanda Flare

Argo Flares Andy Tallentire was offshore last year to undertake a flare capacity check on a Coanda type flare. Our client was unsure if the HP flare tip had a reduced Slot dimension, and thus reduced capacity.

The Flow .v. backpressure tests did indeed show a reduced exit orifice. Our Client armed with this information was able to adjust the plants operation to safely account for this, as well as prepare in good time for a flare tip change-out.
